Fundraising for SUPER Kids

ABOUT SUPER PHOTOSHOOTS FOR DISABILITY, ILL & TERMINAL CHILDREN

Fundraising for children in need. Each child has a FREE SUPER or Fairy Photoshoot then I set up a Fundraiser for these children. For their operations & Financial expenses. Every child who books the SAME Photoshoot I will DONATE 50% of the Photoshoot cost DIRECTLY to their Fundraising GO FUND ME.

I have set up this Fundraiser for an amazing Super girl called Amelia. She is 5 years old & was born with a rare blood condition Called Spherocytosis ( the word even has HERO in it)

Her parents Michael & Cassie found out at birth doing a blood test. She is having Surgery very soon.

When Amelia was born her haemoglobin level was so low it resulted in her needing a blood transfusion and needing to be put under the (blue lights) Sometimes, special blue lights are used on infants whose levels are very high. These lights work by helping to break down bilirubin in the skin. This is called phototherapy. The infant is placed under these lights in a warm, enclosed bed to maintain a constant temperature & reduce jaundice

Hereditary Spherocytosis is a condition characterised by hemolytic anaemia (when red blood cells are destroyed earlier than normal). Signs and symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include pale skin, fatigue, anaemia , jaundice , gallstones, and/or enlargement of the spleen resulting in blood transfusions and eventually a splenectomy.

Removing your spleen is a major surgery and leaves you with a compromised immune system. For these reasons, it's only performed when truly necessary. The benefits of a splenectomy are that it can resolve several health issues such as blood diseases, cancer, and infection that could not be treated any other way.

She has an enlarged spleen, She will be on antibiotics for the rest of her life after the spleen is removed. She will need booster shots before her surgery & has already had blood transfusions.

I am raising funds for the family to help them with Fuel costs going to Hospital, Parking & anything to help this Family feel less stressed over financial costs. I want to help this Family because Amelia is a SUPER HERO who needs every ounce of Support & raise Awareness about Spherocytosis . This is lifelong, her operation is just the start of it all.
